Hi everyone, I've just bought a Golf GTi and had read lots of useful information on here prior to buying, so I thought I should join up!
It's the second VW we've had in the household. My other half had a Scirocco until recently, but we are expecting our first child in May, so we wanted something with a couple more doors. I've had a couple of Seat Leons in the past, so not completely unfamiliar with VAG vehicles.
The car is an '08 plate, 5 door DSG, in grey. So far I'm very pleased with it, it seems to drive pretty well, and it's in decent condition, with recently re-diamond cut 18" alloys.
There are a few things I'd like to do to it, first of which probably being a better stereo, but to start off with it's going in for a full service including DSG, and a general check over. Hopefully all will be well, and then I'll no doubt be on to browsing for remaps and suchlike.....
