Hi all from the north east
« on: February 09, 2010, 07:55:21 pm »
Hi all

Just bought myself a 2005 Golf Gti in graphite blue, dsg and leather. I will get some pics up when i detail it within a inch of its life.

Loving the car already after moving from a rather swift 300bhp impreza, the impreza was good, only problem was it just had its balls out all of the time.

Well i had a little clean today, stripped any old wax off and gave it a damn good clean, door shuts and all those little areas that people dont bother to wash.

Gave it a nice coat of chemical guys wax to see it over.  I even managed to get the standard exhaust looking shiney(it was matt black when i tackled it) althought it did take 1.5hrs of hard graft!

Wheels are getting refurbed next month then when the weather gets a little warmer im going to give it a full correction detail with the DA, i think 2-3 days should have it looking like new.

Here are a couple of pics in the mean time, love this colour...

The shadow blue is a dark blue, this blue graphite is like a bluey-grey kinda colour... Both nice colours though

I know that, I had a shodow blue 1 , and that pic looks like shadow blue, I might be wrong the old peepers aren't what they used to be
