fitted my new rear lights this mornin and did the `even stevens` mod to them with the reverse light lense from my old lights  :happy2:   just had to buy a chrome red bulb

 can you explain "even stevens" to me?
i got left hand drive lights at rear being finally fitted thurs and will need to keep them looking legal..... or i,ll just swap them back the day the mot is due :innocent:

yeah no probs, just replace the fog lense on your new light with the reverse lense from your old lights and then fit a chrome red bulb in place of the standard fog bulb.  
its pretty easy just unscrew the 3 screws that hold the chrome piece to the back of the light then remove and then you`ll see the lense held in by 3 plastic tabs that just need gently squeezing in with something like a screw driver and out pops the lense.  

It makes the back of the car look more even and costs nothing but a bulb as long as you have your old lights  :happy2:

edit;  it can be a bit hard finding decent chrome bulbs that shine bright enough though, i got 2 different ones and luckily 1 works great

these where the best i got from ebay, just search for:   P21W-BA15s-382-SILVER-CHROME-RED   .not sure how a normal red bulb will show though they might be ok

thats very helpful mate cheers. i,m worried with the dectane ones as i cant see how to open it up without breaking it. it looks like its jst a sealed/glued unit, but i,ll  gewt the spark to see what he can do.
