Sorry Jake I don't, but I do know they surprised me how much lighter they felt than the R32.

I will ask Dave if he knows the weights  :happy2:

After doing a "normal" track, not the ring, i found that i might need a bit more inspiring brakes than the R :sad1:32 that can cope better with the heat from normal track use. So i'm just watching the options out there  :drinking: and saw your orange pot, so thought i needed to reread your tread

Over the top mod list ;o)

Just a quick update, finally the "Dale Winton" of brakes have been fitted: -

Combined with some SBS ceramic pads initial feedback is very positive, they are already providing good stopping power without being OTT, so a massive thanks to Professor Friction (aka DaveB)

Also did some geeky stuff today too, thanks for Darren (Morty) for suppling a nice new version C RNS with the LED screen to upgrade from my original version B unit. Also fitted the new 7P6 Bluetooth kit.

Finally VW have released a premuim kit that works with the iPhone and support A2DP bluetooth audio streaming  :pomppomp:

From the iPhone you can now select the car and play your iPod tunes: -

Agree with the cat as they looked a bit red at first!

Had a feeling you'd go for the later RNS!  :innocent: So is that a service Darren is offering?

^^^ I just borought the RNS off Darren and have sold my old unit on.

Unfortunately the brakes are coming off to be refinished again due to them being covered in brake fluid during the install, so better pics are a couple of weeks off now  :sad1:

Finally some better pics of the re-re-finished brakes  :happy2:

Really pleased with the performance of the brakes, a great upgrade for the money   :happy2:

Also got the final production version of the ITG intake today (can't be having the wigit getting something before me again  :P)

And to prove how well the kit works, 16k miles use =  :surprised:

And behind the filter nothing but clean and dry pipework   :innocent:

i guess that is the issue with having the cone fitted right in front of the slam panel, its wide open to all of the elements.  its doing its job though, no doubt.

With that amount of crud on the outside did you not notice a drop off in performance?

Also it looks as though the glue that they use to secure to the sides of the filter material when it is wrapped around the cone frame is coming away!!  are you going for a new filter or just cleaning that one?

on a sidde note how close is the stage 2 map to completion now steve?  very interested to see how much better the TSI is

Well unless JPC has been involved then i am going to say, he has. All the miles he does his bay gets filthy.

Or let me put it another way. I have never seen his engine bay looking so clean.
