I've just replaced an Mk5 R32 with a Tornado red GTI in lovely condition, the R32 was getting some mean looking rust
underneat the boot lid logo catch which i guess is down to water being collected.
I noticed the GTI collects a puddle of water there every time it rains, so far no rust and I want to keep it that way!! Currently i'm out with the kitchen cloth after each downpour.
Apologies as i'm sure this has already been asked, but is there way way to stop it collecting water?
As soon as i've cleared the garage it's going away from the elements.
