Hey all,
Hoping someone can offer some pointers here. My Jettas window regulator decided it had had enough at 11 years old and snapped a cable. I purchased a replacement regulator from GSF and fitted it in less than lovely weather!
Since fitting the regulator, I have some odd behaviour with one touch. I can enable it no problem and it works fine if you don't allow the window to reach the bottom. However, if you allow it to reach the bottom it's disabling one touch for some reason? I've also noticed that the window now goes a lot further down in the door than it used to. Further to this, I've got a recurring fault on vcds scan to do with the motor.
00932 Electric window motor ; Drivers side. V147 no or incorrect basic setting / adaptation.
I've successfuly reset the one touch countless times, but as above - it disables itself if the regulator is allowed to reach the bottom of its travel. I should add, I mortally wounded two of the cables in the 16 pin plug which I have since repaired (one of them desperately as it feeds the wing mirror indicator (MOT friday!)
Any help would be really greatly appreciated, thank you
