Want to Install RCD330

In order to prevent battery drain after installing the RCD330, can i use this emulated canbus instead of swapping the gateway and coding via vcds?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/MFSW-Quadlock-Adapter-For-RCD330-on-GTi-Golf-MK5-Octavia-II-Avoid-Battery-drain/263645817560?hash=item3d6283ead8%3Ag%3A~bcAAOSwlsFa5gYQ&_nkw=rcd330+adapter&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=p2380057.m4084.l1313.TR3.TRC1.A0.H0.Xrcd330+a.TRS0
Struggling to find a pre-coded canbus anywhere.

I've got exactly the same question - did you get anywhere with this?
Thanks
