Subwoofer Wiring
« on: March 25, 2019, 03:22:49 pm »
Hi guys so I’ve got a head unit ordered which is on the way as well as a new can gateway. I already have a sub in the garage and wiring etc but wanted to ask if any of you guys have fitted a sub in too?

I wanted to know which route from the engine is best to wire the power cable through? I’ve heard there’s one behind the battery box. Would be great if you guys could share your setup to help me do mine most likely this weekend.

Thanks

Yes behind the battery there is a grommet which leads you to behind the glove box but be careful when your piercing through the grommet that you dont cut another wire

Cheers for that  :happy2:

I found a gromet behind the battery box like you said and wired the sub power wire through there. Also put in a new headunit :)

Did you wire directly to the battery (with an in-line fuse) or did you connect to the bus bar?

Directly to the battery mate with a fuse of course :). Fuse placed inside battery box so stays out of the way too  :happy2:
