Bad idea then lol. Be best to source the parts and use a specialist then. Or if you can fit your self. Will save a lump of cash

Was every bush replaced at the rear. What was the cost of you don’t mind me asking

I rebushed my Corrado years ago, front to back, all oem rubber.  It drove like new again afterwards.  Really need to do the same on the GTI.  No one likes a soggy old undercarriage.  Even cars need a face lift and some fresh botox from time to time.

Indeed some must people should do to their cars.. Gives back the joy driving older cars.

I also replaced my intire rear subframe last summer - Will go after every bolt and nut now when swapping for other brake setup and summer wheels with full alignment done and also made sure all bolts and buts are tightened to VW spec new when bushes has settled after some kilometers drivin :)
