fitted the k&n in
« on: January 03, 2009, 12:17:02 pm »
Done the k&n air filter this morning with a time of approx half an hour. took a few pics and did not crack the cover. Took the bushes off the engine and put them back on the cover Undo the screws on the back of the cover and there was the old stock filter   then replaced with the k&n filter Put a little lube on the bushes for easyness to put back on and if i ever take it back off again should come off easy Then it was a case of putting it all back on the car took it for a little spin after that and it sounds a little sweeter. Of to give it a wash next :happy2:

Nice write-up!! Good to hear that you didn't have too many problems!

Suprised that you can hear the difference from the filter! I heard nothing whatsoever from mine!
