Can you replace manual door with electric door?
« on: March 30, 2020, 10:00:07 pm »
Hi guys,

I have a golf MK5, and some cyclist cycled into my parked car (how I will never know) and there is a huge dent on the rear passenger door. I've been looking for replacement doors, and have found one online that is in good condition, but it is an electric window opening door. My car has manual window openers (winders)

Would there be any problems with installing the electric door on my car?

Thanks for the help!

The outer panel is removable, it should be the same - just take that off the Electric door

If the seller ends up with the electric motor that could be a reduction in price
