Is mine the only shadow blue one?

Hi all

Just joined the forum after reading about y'all in the Jan 09 VW Driver magazine - thought I ought to say hello and share my first picture with you.

I don't see many GTI's in shadow blue, is there something I should know????

It's as the factory intended as it stands, however I might have to look at colour coding the bottom valance on the rear bumper and upgrading the stereo.

I'll post some more piccies when its both clean and the sun is out!

Anyway, see what you think,

hello duncan, think theres 1 or 2 lads with a shadow blue golf on here, nice colour IMO  :happy2:

Very nice GTI Duncan!  All of us across the pond in the US envy you; we only got the Shadow Blue on Rabbits [Golf 2.5 if you will] & GLIs, not on GTIs.

Call me a crazy yank, but I was loving the Polo in the background! :rolleye:

You may not have got the shadow blue on the GTI but you did get the Fahrenheit orange ones which I really started to like while working out there  :rolleye:

I'm not one for bright colors [colours? :wink:], so the fahrenheits didn't appeal to me.  However I'd love to get my hands on a Polo BlueMotion 2. :happy2:
