new project - newbie questions

Hey folks,
Have my first Mk5 and am doing small upgrades to it as I go.
New key fobs, led plate lights, RC210 radio fitted and a fresh set of GTi mats.
OEM cruise control stalk and MFSW buttons on order, along with some centre caps ordered for the Monza 2's.
Parking sensors, cherry red hazard switch, dynamic LED turn signals, shark fin aerial all on order and a trip to the paint shop to get the side skirts and rear bumper sprayed organised too.
I'm looking at other little upgrades and was wondering if anyone has fitted these

I noted others had fitted the light switch and retrofitted the Mark 6 window switches and wanted a purists' point of view.
Cheers in advance

I've replaced my headlight switch with a genuine mk6 one.
I'll do the electric windows and mirror switch at somepoint. I'm going to stick with genuine as the mk5 headlight switch lasted 15 years and 90k miles.
