P2008 Code

Hi
Im new to the golf gti and just bought myself a 55 plate one just had it into the garage as the engine management light came on
It has come up with the code P2008 Intake Manifold Runner Bank 1 Control Circuit/Open has anyone had this fault ??
The garage thinks its the throttle body but didn't seem to sure he cleared the light and told me to see if it comes back on I've raced up and down the motorway for half an hour but its stayed off so I was just wondering if this is a common fault or if its nothing to worry about

Code is relative to the inlet manifold runner control, there's a motor under the inlet manifold that controls flaps that are inside the manifold/head. Nothing to do with the throttle body.

Cheers for that ive passed it onto to my local garage he going to try a motor see if that works
