goodbye M3 ........hello edition 30!!!!!!

evening all ...............

finally got rid of the m3 today and put deposit on gti edition 30!!!!!!!!!!

after looking at several ed 30's found one in the right condition ,not mega spec but good enough

08 plate.
3 dr
silver
dsg
winter pack
highline computer.


Never driven a dsg before , was completly suprised by how quick the gear changes were  and so smooth,even using the paddles was effortless.
had previously driven a smg bmw and was put of for life!!!!

dsg seems to be a different kettle of fish.


looking forward to spending spring and summer in a quality car ,and hopefully going to a few shows ect !!

not planning on spending loads on mods 

well maybe a cheecky back box!!!!!!

paid 18.5k at mainstealers.........chopped m3 in as well....

seen slightly cheaper ones about, but needed to trade bm in  and couldnt be arsed to  faff about selling m3 private , and to be honest

dont want a load of dick heads turning up at house expexting to get a 15k car for 10 k!!!

Lucky bugger.I'm still looking and the more I look the more I think the Main Dealer route will be the best .
I've had the DH's round to look at my 9-3 and offer silly money .
So its off to the dealers web site .
