....That's what I don't like about Touristfahrten days compared with trackdays: Too many drivers are allowed to ignore the correct and safer etiquette whereby you give way to a faster car unless you already have the line for the corner, and you don't flash your lights. It's not a race.

Be nice to be able to afford a proper track day there RR! But as I can't the TF will do just fine for me. Plus it was practically empty most of the day so we mostly had traffic free laps.

Saturday night was brilliant minus the 30 min surge at the start, perfect for it

then Sunday was great too. Nice number of cars. Then it died at 3 oclock ish when everyone got tired. There was a bit of spitting at lunch, which probably was when the vxr ran out of talent. Other than that, it wasn't rammed at all

I've seen it really busy on there whereby your braking into a corner and following 5 or 6 people into the same corner.

I had a great first ring trip and got 4 laps in(should have done more) thanks to all for making it a great trip i loved it and will be going again. Here are a couple of my many photos.

Getting done by sabine on my second lap

Greenhouse after the 911

Great pics Mike  :drinking: i didnt spot you there.

I have been restoring the car all day back to how it was before i left. my car has never been so abused and dirty.  :chicken:
Anyway i feel good now its back to its best, the only scar is a stone chip on the front wheel arch near the bottom on the door side, so all in all my baby came through unscathed.
I had a great trip right the way through, the weather held up and the Saturday afternoon drive when the sun came out will stay in my memory for a long time.  :notworthy:
I had MR "Miglor Detailing" himself travelling with me for the trip, thought this would mean him keeping the car looking good, but no such luck, he just broke bits.   Only joking he is a great lad and i am very glad he shared his company with me over the weekend.  :drinking:
When it came to track time i was not nervous for some reason, thought i would do a sighting lap early on Sunday morning, just in case the weather got worse. after 3 minutes the rain came down for a couple of miles, bit scary with track tyres and a BMW right up my chuff. so i let him past and 4 corners later he spun right in front of me and stopped bang in the middle of the track.  :driver:
So i stupidly just stopped in front of him and waved for him to recover and get going. In hindsight this was very dangerous and could easily have taken a rear end visit from a car coming up behind. Anyway it all worked out and i had made it round my first ever lap of the track.  :innocent:
My lap with T88om in his S3 will stay with me as well, the grip from that car was stunning, half way round a bend we were back to full speed again.  :scared:
Also my passenger trip with Nathan/Greenouse was glorious. His car is very fast and my hat comes off to him he is a very capable driver.  :congrats:
Finally i would like to thank all the guys i went with for making my trip very special.  :drinking:

I only took a few pics, never really felt like taking many this time for some reason.

Brand spanking new GT3 RS.
