So...I bought a Civic Type S 1.8 about 6 weeks ago, two weeks later someone ran into it outside my house one night and drove off. Car was repaired and I realised that I wanted more power and quality. I really wanted a Type R but couldn’t find a decent one locally, I’m in Portsmouth. Then three nights ago I stumbled across this ‘56 plate, candy white GTI, hadn’t considered one before, 102K, full service history and less than three miles from me. As soon as I set off on the test drive I was sold. So they kindly took my Civic off me, and I am now the owner of a Golf GTI. Wanted to post a couple of pics, but I expect I’ll have to wait.
Now got to send all the Civic parts back...
