Water dripping from the rear view mirror!

I have had a couple of drops of water drip from the sun visor left hand mount this afternoon.... I have had the car for 7 months and never had any issue at  all previously but I haven't driven it in such extreme rain as I did today. I was hoping it was just a bad windscreen seal, it appears that the previous owner has had it replaced.
Did you ever get to the bottom of your water leak from the rear view mirror?

No, it didn't happen again so I didn't look any further into it.  My windscreen was also replaced by the previous owner.

Guys bump from the past. Any one find out the solution? Original screen still fitted.

I had the windscreen replaced via insurance and this cured the issue. It was down to a poor seal when a replacement screen had been fitted in the past.
