RCD 330 MFSW ATTACHMENT STOPS BATTERY DRAIN??

Hi all,
Appreciate that there’s a ton of threads regarding the rcd330’s and their battery drain, but I’m struggling to find a direct answer to whether or not a mfsw cable will stop battery drain on a mk5 golf? Seen a few conflicting answers and I’m not too sure
