I prefer the grey colour, but the silver one just looks very well looked after.  The grey one has a different centre console.

bookmarked nice one  :happy2:
Another option is camskill but they only supply and not fit the tyres but it’s good to compare or if you have a friendly local garage to fit (or when you are refurbing your wheels anyway and have them refit new tyres)

Good choice and sounds like even though they charged a little more for the tyres you got a great deal with mot, service, cambelt thrown in.

Are you planning on doing anything to the car? what are the buttons on the side of the drivers seat, is that electronic adjustment?

Apart from getting the interior up to spec, new latch on glovebox and new leather on the gear stick, I think I'll just keep it stock. I assume those buttons are the electric adjustment

Wouldn't worry about that it will just be an input error somewhere. Mine shows up as a pirelli edition on some sites (wish it was but it definitely isn't).

Thanks I spent most a good chunk of time worrying, until I googled it and it's a common issue. Still I let the dealer know hoping they will sort out the V5C, as it's a bit of a pain to insure now, have to ring and hold to speak to an advisor as opposed to just clicking a few buttons

My fully loaded grey GTI is going up for sale soon including very rare factory Xenons. Lot less miles and DSG and other preventative maintenance done. FSH I also replaced most of the interior (previous owners wife had long nails and wrecked the buttons). A bit beyond the cost of these but all round a better car.

Just a thought !

failed its MOT today,

Repair immediately (major defects):
Front Windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively (3.4 (b) (ii))
Offside Front Coil spring fractured or broken and top mount damaged (5.3.1 (b) (i))  ---> On this one, is it worth me ringing them and asking to replace both sides? Or is it just likely pot hole damage that won't matter if one side is newer than the other?

but on a positive, no advisories   :driver:
