Swap manuel to DSG
« on: February 23, 2021, 02:22:25 pm »
hello hello

I want to switch my GTI to DSG but first, we try with a friend to switch his Golf 5 TDI to DSG then I would do the GTI. But I have difficulties I wanted to know if it is necessary to change the accelerator pedal? I have already started wiring the DQ250 Box as well as the gear selector (I have not yet put the mecatronic in the box because I have not yet found a tutorial) so who could help me to know how wire the pedal or if you have a wiring diagram for golf 1.9L TDI in DSG in order to know what to modify for the pedal.
Normally if I do the cable well the box on the CAN BUS just by connecting the VCDS I could make an adaptation of the box? or is there something else?
I am really a novice but I still try like that I could do my GTI without risking myself

Sell the car and buy a DSG version.  It's not worth the hassle.
