Not updated this in a while, car wasnt ready for DC10 so its breaking cover at MIVW in Holland next week.

Im just about done just a few bits and bobs to finish.... Fit the front door cards, get a 510 in the dash and sort an issue with the steering angle sensor  :driver:

Seats

Door Cards

Carbon Fibre touches

Parcel shelf supports which i trimmed and smoothed off before carboning them

Console Inserts

Arm Rest

Door Handles

Repainted the Tank and the cage along with the boot floor

Also gave it a quick flat and polish (yeah i know the rear trim is squint  :signLOL:)

have you put genuine carbon fibre on the stock parts or have you had molds made up and had new bits made of 100% carbon fibre ?

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

Its completely cost prohibitive and impossible one some parts mate, most of it is carbon over lay.

Which is essentially carbon fibre laid over the part for aethstetic purposes of course its adds weight which is kind the reverse purpose of carbon fibre but im not interested in weight loss as im not tracking the car.

How did your bump strip end up on the pish. We spotted a couple of Mk 5's at Inters like this but not quite as bad as that.  :happy2:

some of these interior parts you just couldn't make due to the way the mount in the car, moulding is simple on things like panels or simple parts but all the bits inside the mk5 have a 101 clips and moulded parts that you just couldnt make out of carbon i dont think.

I got a bit of stick on E38 for the fact that it was overlayed and as such adding weight but as i said my goal is looks over performance  :happy2:
