Sy I'm not sure why you want to put GTI suspension on the Octy as the spring and damper rates are different  :confused:

when i enquired the eibach srings were the same for the vRS and GTI.  could be wrong though. Ill be changing the springs anyway.  as for the damping, its always been commented on how the GTI had better damping than the vRS.  

who knows, this could back fire :scared: and go tits up.  the car just isnt drivable around my local area on coilovers, its so crashy

that said i did search for vRS suspension for the best part of a month or so, but to no avail.

yep, not my finest moment, sold the lot, and didnt even need the money tbh, just pissed it up the wall.  never mind, you ive and learn

 But surely, changing to other springs/dampers will put the corner-weighting out too?

If you raise your coilovers hopefully this would reduce any crashiness. And for anyone

that's fussy about the car's ride height, having control over it is a blessing. You know

when a car's on springs alone and maybe the front is sitting too high - spoils it  :smiley:
