hpfp washer ?
« on: March 17, 2022, 11:48:00 am »
swapped my hpfp yesterday all seems well no leaks, but upon boxing my old one a washer has fallen out from inside one of the fuel line connections but i dont know which one seems to fit inside the return line and im wondering if the new pump came with one or if i was supposed to transfer this along with the m8 threaded bolt, im assuming the new pump had one in as ive no leaks

You would know if the washers aren't fitted as fuel pisses out everywhere, therefore the new one has them fitted.

Don't recall fitting a washer when doing mine.

when you buy a new one it comes with the push on connection for the rubber pipe you have to swap over the bleed valve and and m8 connection, pretty sure this washer sits inside the m8 connection, but as nothing came out when i removed the connection to transfer the m8 fitting iam assuming it was left inside, have my old one up for sale now for £120 to try and recoup some doe, thanks all
