My United Grey Gti
« on: April 07, 2022, 07:01:09 pm »

Bought as a factory standard car with just tinted windows and Pioneer head unit added by previous owner. Since then (2019) it's had the following:
Benchmark coil packs
Services and recent cambelt
NGK Iridium spark plugs (on 2nd set since purchase)
Ramair oversized CAI
GFB DV+
Scorpion downpipe and sports cat
Mailan cat back (All 3" stainless).
H&R springs and Bilstein struts/rear shocks (top mounts and drop links done too)
All wheel bearings and ABS rings replaced (including ABS sensors)
Cross drilled/grooved discs and Mintex pads all round
18" Monzas in Grey (need refurbing now).
Smoked dynamic indicator repeaters and smoked 3rd brake light.

I've got new front wings, HPFP cam follower cup, all new rear suspension (including subframe) and wind defectors to fit and then it's time to buy and fit new engine/gearbox mounts before deciding on how far to go with remapping. :)
Everything on the list has been fitted by me (except the exhaust as I don't have a lift).
It's a fun car which now sounds better and sits better than standard but is still driveable. I was using it as my daily driver until I recently got a car with work, so now it's a weekend/long distance car when I want to get there a little bit quicker than my wife's Peugeot or my 1.4 MK4 Golf.  :driver:

Best colour in my opinion, has it got spacers on?
Getting too old for this...
