These days it’s NOT so easy to find a good taken care example!! But they are out there Some owners are asking silly money for nice taken care examples…
I was searching for 2 years😅 and there were 2 which slipped trough my fingers😫
One VR and one 16V… the sound of the VR6 is 
I also know what you’re talking about… family, house, work… been there too my friend😘😅

my bro in law has still got his 16v which hes getting ready again.... so looking forward to taking that out

The last few weeks I was very bussy gathering parts which I want to change and make it back OEM👍🏻 I’ll put some feedback when I’m back in Antwerp…
This week I took the Ed 30 to Croatia to change it for the 20years…😁

Today it was time to start the 20 Years after a month in the garage…
First up was to plug VCDS in and see if something was wrong…😅
All good no faults👊🏻😅 time to start and enjoy the island here….

Hi guys,
After a couple of moths I’m back in Croatia 🇭🇷 for a week
The past few days I was working, cleaning and helping mum with house stuff😅
Today I had a whole day for myself😎 so out I went…
First start was a bit hesitating but after the second try… the GTI was back alive & kicking ( I guess battery could need a replacement) let it idle for a couple of minutes, checked tyre pressure and then out of the garage into the nice 24 degrees sun😍
First slowly arround town and then all over the island😎 20 Years is back alive and kicking👍🏻
Gave it a good needed wash and went for a little trip… after about 100km came back home and enjoyed the work achieved👍🏻👍🏻

Looking forward for beginning of April….
After I came back to Belgium I slowly started to gather parts for the 20 Years….



Porsche Boxster 986 Calipers with 310x25 discs and braided hoses also for the back



A big service with all new timingbelt and belts, waterpump, thermostat (78*c), oil, oilfilter, sparkplugs, cabinfilter, fuelfilter…. etc, etc, etc





Also found a nice backseat with headrests





Other things still to come are: full Custom exhaust, and some B14 Bilsteins….

But 1st get some nice Croatian numberplates in April….

And then it all starts….😍

Parts are comming together….
Some nice Porsche Sport Classic 17” are waiting also…. And found new Audi “Parabol” 7x17 polished in the garage😅 I forgot I had them!! And some Porsche Targa “Speedline” in 7 & 9x17” !!!
Also some other BBS jewels are laying in the corner….
I’ll take some pic’s of all of them….
Stuff for heated seats and electric windows behind are for this month…. Also found a Nokia DSP system in the parts gathering…
But for now…. Also hibernating😁

It’s been quiet with the 20 years…
Enjoyed a couple of meets with it localy here. Still popular the mk3 here😍 had some kind chats with locals and even UK guys who spotted the little nuget 😅
