Mk5 GTI at 290hp.
Mid-drive the engine started whining under any increase in revs.
I've removed the auxillary belt and the noise is still present.
The oil pressure light came on a few weeks ago, car was promptly stopped, recovered and when home I removed the sump and sorted out the blocked pick up pipe.
Was I too late and the Turbo is FUBAR'd?
Or could it be something else?
