A couple of things...
- Does the car have anything that could have contributed to some positive camber? Adjustable top mounts, wishbone bushes, adjustable ball joints? Perhaps some Powerflex bushes tucked away at the front of the lower arms that you haven't noticed? Is the car on standard suspension? Generally as cars get lower their static camber becomes more negative. If a car was lowered in the past, it could have had positive camber added in order to meet stock specifications. If the car was returned to standard suspension later, it would then be more positive unless that adjustment was taken out.
- You said alignment. Just be aware that some companies will only be checking toe when they say alignment. You really want somewhere with a Hunter or similar setup. Ideally to get camber, caster and toe.
Worn bushes can do funny things, but if your uneven wear is balanced across both fronts, it makes me think that somebody has done something on both sides. Either incorrect part or for the reason above.
