First time Golf owner, picked up a Mk5 GTI on Saturday and I'm enjoying it so far.
Starting to get some bits in to do a few fixes and tweaks to it and high on the list is swapping in my carplay head unit - I've been looking for the correct bits to do it and I can see Connects2 does a loom that sorts out the canbus bits CTSVW002.2 - I just wanted to double check as I couldn't find any info anywhere, and it's not mentioned on their page, does anyone know if it will work to replace an MFD2?
I'm presuming it will as I can't imagine it being that different from the standard units - but thought I'd see if anyone here has done it and might know before taking the punt.
