New OBDeleven device - several faults, are they related?
« on: November 12, 2023, 12:54:22 pm »
I have lot's of questions for anyone bored on a wet Sunday afternoon

My OBDeleven has thrown up the following (full details at the bottom).

00888 - Windshield wiper intermittent mode switch Intermittent -> This hasn't worked well for a long time
00883 - Ignition/starter switch (terminal S) Intermittent -> No symptoms, not sure what to look for?
00096 - Driver door central locking SAVE motor Intermittent -> No symptoms, not sure what to look for?

I cleared them once to make sure they were not historic issues, but they all came back.

They all sound like there could be a single electrical issue perhaps causing them?
The battery has been replaced in the last few years.
One other thing that may be related, is that I have a lot of ticking/clunking noises from the dash when the ignition is on, but the car is not running. Any idea what that might be?

Cheers

Now I've had a bunch of other things sorted, just a little 'bump' for these issues in case anyone has any ideas?
