Location Yaw Rate sensor
« on: June 10, 2024, 04:02:44 pm »
Does anyone know where the Yaw Rate sensor is located on a VW Golf Mk5 GTI (2008, left-hand drive)?
We have already looked under the driver and passenger seat, but it doesn't seem to be there.
It also isn't behind the glovebox, under the steering wheel or in the centre console.

Help would be appreciated, thanks!

Does it not use the xenon levelling sensor for that? If not, I’m sure I remember seeing a little module behind the left side dash end cover, which could be it.

I have not heard about that before. Could you tell me a little more about how that works?
How do I know if my car has xenon leveling and where would those sensors be located?
