Stage 2+ K04 Conversion Fuel Pressure Help
« on: June 20, 2024, 09:58:41 pm »
Hi all,

Getting the errors above plus epc light on the dash every time I fill up.  I have just recently had the k04 swap with all new parts.  Any ideas on what this could be?  Also anyone one in the Essex area that would be able to repair.

Thanks

thanks

What parts did you fit, like what's changed? HPFP, injectors, rail pressure sensor and so on

That specific code relates to the regulator on-top of the hpfp. Check for cracks around it, check fuses and check if there's power coming through to it.

Aight, I cant think of any other scenario where it would throw this code. The wiring leading to the regulator or the regulator itself might be faulty. Try doing an output test with VCDS.

The pump looks a bit old. Could probably do with replacing. New ones come with a new pressure regulator.
