Diverter valve - GFB VTA
« on: October 02, 2024, 09:05:41 am »
Hey guys

background info: bought a 2007 mk5 Golf GTi about 6-7 months ago, found a decent deal on one with only 70k miles. It's still on it's original rev C DV. Had a stage one remap a couple of months ago.

So... last couple weeks I've noticed it's just not throwing you back in your seat when you floor it any more, it's been a gradual loss of boost so pretty sure it's a tear that's got bigger. First port of call is replace my diverter valve. I was just looking at a direct rev G replacement, but while i was looking i found this

https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-car/volkswagen/beetle-16/dump-diverter-valves/gfb-vta-for-vag-applications-with-factory-pierberg-diverter-valves/

I've read through the other DV threads on here but can't find a mention of this version - Anyone have any experience with this?

cheers
