Changing back to OE air box help

Hi, I've recently bought a 58 plate golf GTi. I bought it without seeing the car and when I got the car found it had a ram air filter on it and the engine cover missing. I want to put it back to standard and wondered if anyone can help with the parts I need. Someone advised that the air box is built into the cover but I'm unsure if this is true. Thanks.

Yeah the filter is part of the cover

Yes it is, it's also used on Audi Seat and Skoda models so you don't need necessarily need to search for one from a golf.

There are three parts or most prob four parts depending on the kit.




and then the pipe from the turbo to the engine cover

Then there are the four engine mounting points for the cover. and these may have all or some been removed that need to be considered.

If you get one sorted, I've got a Pipercross panel filter going. It's used but washed and good to go. I had 2 for my car and swapped them about. Really good condition.
