Soft misfire on idle
« on: March 14, 2025, 10:22:47 pm »
Hi all, new on here. Have a 2006 GTI, 105k with full history. Engine starts, runs and revs beautifully but it is a little lumpy on idle, not noticeable in the engine bay but can feel ot through the front seats. Had inlet media blasted and replaced PCV but still the same. Any idea where to go next?

I bet one of the ring seals in the cam adjuster has broken or it is badly grooved aswell.
