Applying it to out the factory black plastic (like the MK5 GTI bumpers) is different though isn't it Jules?

I'm under the impression plastic does have to be rubbed down or sander?  Correct me if I'm wrong

I looked into my R32 plastic part (around the exhaust) and was told it would be fine. Maybe its different on the GTI though?

Anyone know?

You cant wrap textured plastic, it would need sanding smooth or it's easier to it paint first as thats the best surface for it.  :happy2:

Iv decided to get the back resprayed like in the above photos and wrap the rear valance in carbon fibre (which I think will be a diy job).

Has anyone done a wrap themselves?

When asked "What would the dogs bollocks look like with four wheels" VW designed the golf gti.
