castrol edge(£6.66 at tesco)

is this oil suitable?
Castrol edge 5w-30,latest tech for modern vw and audi engines 1 litre
vw 504 oo/507 00 vw req approved
bought one from my local tesco,normal rrp £20,cheapest is halfrauds £16.99
price today £9.99 :laugh:

Nope, get it from opie oils, works out a damn sight cheaper and they usually have offers such as a litre free when you but 4, plus you get forum discount on top  :happy2:

£16 at my Tesco yesterday too -- I only noticed because I've just had to top mine up again so I was looking around to buy some more...

Noticed that Mobil 1 ESP is about £8-9 at tesco at the moment too.  Seems to be about twice the price in Halfords?

bargain
in my tesco in bidston,nw merseyside
they have a new isle,bargain isle,it was there about 10 1litre bottles,and it says they are £9.99,but when i scanned it through £6.66 :happy2:

Just popped in to my local tesco direct on the way home and all grades of Castrol edge were £16 ltr.  Going to try another store later.

Until a few weeks ago Halfords were doing a promotion, at £32 for 5 litres, - a bargain.
