sounds like possible lean sneeze as you have cold intake, you need a high pressure fuel pump, and someone with vcds to do some data logs

With cold air intake, you will see potential poor fuel pressure under load.

I would say if you dont have funds, then install panel filter in factory airbox and remove cold air intake untill you can afford to fit, or you could cause more damage then harm leaving it as is.

On the Ed30 Bluefin stage 2 only requests 110bar from the fuel pump so should be fine.

However get hold of someone with VCDS if you don't have it yourself and do some logs.

HPFP can pick up +20hp and +25 ft/lb on a stage 1 tune and even make gains on stock. I have seen stage 1 tunes with turbo back exhausts and an intake cause fuel cuts and missfires.

as a test, put the original intake back on, see if the missfire goes away.

If you want a HPFP I have some Autotech internals, new in the box.

is this with esp on by chance?

yes it is havent tryed it with it off but esp wont cause a missfire tho surely

basically you say it mainly happens in 1st gear, and your hear like a brrrppp noise, which could be esp kicking in and it does make the car sound likes its misfiring to some people. Basically just esp kicking in cutting the fuel or something like that.

So if it doesnt do it with the esp off I would argue that its not a misfire. Obviously if it does it in 4th or 5th gear its nothing to do with the esp.
