You can't really tell, even if they post pics of the stamp as the copies are made from a mould that was made from a genuine splitter

very true... eBay is a minefield. All looks ok to me... But no one seems concerned that the colour is non standard. Is this cause it's likely someone with a non ed30 may have had it first?

precisely why I wanted confirmation, thanks for the replies- I had just taken the plunge after seller confirmed part no.
1K0 805 903 J, you could not see it on the pic! got it for £160 + p&p, hopefully its a genuine one   :scared:

Think I paid around £200 with very little discount. Usually they give me a good 10-15% but they said the margins are too low on these for anything more than a few % off!
