I was at a 1/4 mile a few years ago, wasn't impressed with my first few runs so proceeded to remove the spare wheel, tool kit, and my passenger. Saved 0.05 of a second on average.  :confused:

Not really a fair test when you add extra variable such as the change in tyres and variable track conditions (track would have either been drier or wetter than the first run)

Keeping the original wheels & tyres, and testing on a dry day would have yielded a different result
