Managed the RS4 valve, BSH PCV Fix, WALK, BSH mounts and aircon condenser out last week/week before, also fitted td 1.2s

Sooooo, before I go back to Germany in the next few weeks its looking like my choices are;

2 Tyres - 888, R1R, Hankook etc - (have worn vreds atm)
Sachs pressure plate to compliment sachs disc, (£260 fitted)
WMI, (£350 fitted)
Forge actuator (£275 fitted)

or open to suggestions.  Im thinking about waiting 'till I come back and end of Aug having another mod spree....
Who fitted all the kit for you Mike?

RS4 Valve
WALK
BSH Mounts
Air con out

All at Statlers

BSH pcv kit myself

You fitted the RS4 valve due to changing software supplier? Well, when you change.

The car's progressing nicely Mike :happy2:

I don't like the TDPR 1.2's on the Leon though....I think you ought to let me have them

I'd go for the R1R's, they make a hell of a lot of difference to grip levels and are decent in the wet. :happy2:

Steves getting some R1Rs in tommorow.  Buuuut Being that Im not going to get on a track untill I get back to germany and Im driving Kent - Doncaster every week untill then Im going to exploit whats left on the Vreds.

Instead Ive emailed for a booking on Friday 28th for fitting WMI all ready for Hybrid / custom map offerings after my wedding

Then Diff, tyres & TT ball joints and she'll be mint :)

Just spoke to bruce and the WMI kit I want for the car is comming from the states and out of stock.

I think Im going to focus my efforts (and savings) into researching a DSG conversion for the Cupra.

Dont plan on getting rid of it for a while so lots of time to get where I want to be with it (the list is endless!)

As much as DSG is a great, i dont think it would be that much of an improvment to justify the very likely LARGE cost of supply and fitting.

plenty of other things available to make your car go faster.

top mounts, TT arms, better lightweight brakes, LSD, forge actuator, hybrid turbo, custom mapping, WMI.  All of which would make more of a difference to the car in the bends, and most of them wil make it faster on the strip than what the DSG conversion would.

Of that list for me, it would have to be the diff and the control arms.  Diff will make your car put down the power better, thus making it faster, and the control arms and LSD it will make you corner like a house fly with all you other mods.
