Bit random but does the RS4 give that shove in the back feeling?

Not really mate. Driven 2 (had nightmares about 1 for 14 months now  :scared:) and although they aren't exactly slow, the power delivery was far to boring for me. Just didn't feel quick at all (weird I know).
Not that they aren't good cars as they obviously are and a great all round package. But for me and the money I would have a E92 M3. Quicker, nicer looking (IMO) and more fun.

Yep, I agree Ben, the Audi isn't as raw and alive as the Beemer. The RS4 is an awesome car but just a bit more civilised and some of us prefer a wilder character.

Er yes. At 11 secs or so to 100, you know about it!

Thought so, but you'd think that in an S5 which wasn't the case.

S5 has a different engine, even though its the same size, it puts out 70 bhp less or so.

Hard, wise and sensible decision I think Ian..  As it's easy to fall in love with something and think f**k it, only to think  :scared: a few months down the road..

i was perving on a new shape m3 today for only about....................20minutes...............and i have decided they are possibly my dream car of the moment (this changes frequently) but they are just a very very classy but aggressive fast but comfortable car.

Knowing a guy that had the previous m3 (im not down with the E numbers  ) and then got a rs4 saloon then avant (his son took his saloon for a roll at 140!gulp!) but he absolutely ranted about his m3 and how good it was and he raced cars for years.

But he also loved his rs4...personal preference i guess!

oh and his son was fine which is a credit to audi safety!
