oops did i bad moouth REVO there, my bad

as said above there are other otpion other than revo and bluefin.  i for one am not a fan of bluefin at all after having it on my car.  it made good power, but gave poor delivery.

I love REVO, it feels ace, and with the adjustability its fantastic, but after driving lots of cars with revo and a few with bluefin, i must admit, im more of a fan of the delivery on the shark performance remaps.  Not as aggressive initially, which i find preferable to drive with less wheel spin issues.

quite a few Bluefin and revo converts on briskoda to back that up as well.  Although if i go WMI i will be getting REVO done so i can adjust the settings as and when required.

You should work for SP!! i currently have a bluefin unit (car not been mapped yet), and even though i haven't even felt the impact of a remap i already want to sell it and try SP haha

k04 seem good, all the problems i experienced and other guys seem to have were k03, and to be fair might have been addressed as quite alot of us were mailing to and fro with superchips about it trying to get it sorted, i just sacked it off and went remap trialing before changing

Which one did you go for and what were your reasons for not choosing the others.

the stage 1 map was ok, but its the stage 2 were the delievery became quite on/off, like it had a few power bands.  I never really noticed it that much until i started having goes in other ones, and then it became very obvious,  like i say though, this was a couple years back, they have prob changed it now.

although a guy on brisky timmyboy had stage 2 with identical characteristics to me, got it on JKMs rollers and made 250Hp and 270Ibft which is low for stage 2 anyways, he then had his fuel pump fitted the stage 2+ map installed and made..... 250.3 or something like that, mine made more than that, although it was on AMDs rollers which back then used to read very high.

I had bf stage 1, 2 and 3, 1 and 2 were spot on it was only stage 3 that was pants... Only had Revo 2+ and cant fault it in any way and its a thousand times better than the bf stage 3 :happy2:

That said, there have been others on here with stage 3 that love it  :rolleye:
Edition 30 DSG, Revo 2+,BSH Intake, Autotech hpfp, Blueflame TBE,  Eibach Sportlines, Speedline Turini's GONE

are you k04?,  i had bluefin at stage 1, 2 and 2+ (k03).  it was mainly the stage 2 that was really poor, the stage 2+ cured all the stage 2 issues, but still wasnt as good as you would want.  It was a free upgrade though so cant whinge too much

the SP maps were better than all of the bluefin ones i had IMO, and ive had these at stage 3, then 2 and now stage 1.  Hp is similar, but i have more torque.

bluefin stage 1, 241hP, 249lbft
shark stage 1     240Hp, 270Ibft

never had mine on the rolers for shark stage 2 r 3 so cant really compare, but the bum dyno was impressed

its a preference thing mate, i used the stage 2 BF map for all my laps of the ring, and loved everyminute of it, so it wasnt bad enough to ruin that, the brakes did that instead , so its not that bad, im just pretty picky with it TBH,
