As i said origonally, her Car drives perfectly smooth as Matt, the timing doesnt appear to be suffering and to be a cause of concern. If fuel was insufficient, then wouldnt the timing be more of an issue if there isnt enough fuel..

The logs were done to try and find out why Mandys car was set to Timing 2 by JKM as they also drew a blank as to why. They 1st advised her to replace her Twintake with  another make of cold intake, which she has done now to an Evoms, and still this persists.. (thankyou for the Twintake Mandy )

Im not sure on the full cost of an APR fuel pump and fitting etc, but isnt it worth speaking to Revo as to whether there is a map that doesnt request as much without dropping to stage1...

Sorry to Mandy for talking about this, but im just abit confused, doesnt take much i know , but im just interested to know  :happy2:

What do you think she phoned them for  a friendly chat to see how the business is going

As ever with REVO it's not the code it's the car. All they will say is turn the boost right down or just don't use full throttle.

I don't know what you consider smooth but last time i was in it (just after fitting the twintake) then it certainly wasn't smooth and you could feel the car holding back.

So would i and go elsewhere. But then Mandy would have thrown circa £700 down the drain so she may as well stick with it.

she can still return the fuel pump im sure, but that is really poor on Revo's part. Its clear to see what the issue is, but they arent willing to adjust her code to solve the issue without going another stage.

Edit ... from what i gather she's had abit of a result in the cost of the fuel pump, so at least she wont loose out when she decides to sell it on i guess.. Still bad Juju on Revo though. Never had an issue with Superchips slightly ever so less agressive Code and their aftersales :innocent:

I feel sorry for Mandy  :sad1:

Thanks for all your concerns but what I'm thinking is if I don't need the pump I can sell it on, it came up at a good price today so I thought I might as well buy it as if I did need it after all I wouldn't get one at this price again! I can't remember exactly but I'm sure I had relatively low Timing settings with stage 1 Revo too so maybe it is the oem pump or whatever other car component... One of the options was to go back to stage 1 but I wouldn't have been able to ask for a refund for the stage 2 upgrade because I didn't end up paying for it (flashed wrong map at inters so got refund for inconvenience), also it would be a waste of the full TBE and Evoms. Another option would be to change to a entirely different map but again I'd be forking out more money with the possibility that the problem wouldn't be solved. I'll just have to stick with what I'm doing and I'm not giving up yet, would've been boring without any hiccups along the way... Not trying to 'willy wave' but I got my Revo maps significantly cheaper anyway so it doesn't break my heart too much having to buy an APR fuel pump. :happy2:
