Can someone explain more precisely what they are/do, please?

Sometimes (often) this picture thread would benefit from a description even if only one line. I'm too often left thinking WTF is that!?  :happy2:

Robin, they sit between the chassis and the subframe. So if you remember the recent ECS uprated bolts group buy, well these would/could be the next stage. They basically lineup the subframe to the chassis which should then make the geometry square. They recommend not to fit them if you've had any sort of front end damage.

If you follow the link the fitting instructions will show you how/where they fit.

Nowhere near that and that is a bloody good price for any W7 especially Ultimate. Was it OEM or Retail? I got retail this time as I'm gonna be upgrading my MoBo, Ram etc later in the year

Full retail jobbie with both 32 & 64 bit discs. It's gone down to around 200 quid now, but it was nearer 350 at the time.

That will be a brilliant upgrade. I put an Intel 180GB SSD in my 4 year old PC 4 months ago. The best ever upgrade I have done for the price :happy2:

Maybe best to wait till the next one. Based on the last few Microsoft seem to be getting it right on every other OS.

XP was good, Vista was crap, W7 was/is good and therefore W8 will be crap :wink:

I upgraded to W7 on release and will be sticking to it for a while yet.
