New MBP. I didn't get a Retina version as they are very limited in upgradeability. So i got the non retina and put the 240GB Vertex 3 SSD & 16GB RAM in it.

Thanks to a rather generous work discount (I work at Cable & Wireless, now Vodafone) i ordered a a new phone for my wife as a surprise. Not bad for less than £15ppm with unlimited text,minutes and 3GB of data :)

That's the same as what i got only mine was blue. Also got it from Currys. The twonk salesman was trying to tell me that i needed to pay £7 more for the "for Mac" version as it was going on a Mac Computer. :chicken: When i asked why i couldn't use the normal one he replied "different OS so it won't recgonise it as it's in the wrong format"  So i made him aware of the fabulous app called disk utility and the setting that erases and formats in HFS, to which he told me "it won't work and you will ruin the HD"  :confused:

I just took the disk anyway and said "i'll come back if i'm wrong". Funnily enough it worked perfectly  :grin:

The twonk salesman tried telling me that it would work on both OS systems as we have windows and Mac at home, then I told him it was for my TV he had to get another 3 sales twonks to confirm it "might" work  :scared:
Got it home plugged it into my TV and BOOM formatted itself and I now have 111Hrs of HD recording   :P
