Vacuum one room and it'll be time to empty it.

My Grandad bought a Kirby Cleaner for £1500.  Are they still being sold ?  I wanna punch the W@nker who sold it to him , not any better than a £150 one at the time , total con/rip off , he was 89 and never used it , his home help did .

TBH mate, Kirbys are built like tanks, remind me of the Polo 6N, lol - £1500 is WAY overpriced though. :sad1:  Should be more like £500 brand new

We've had loads of hoovers through the family, all the usual Dyson rubbish from way back to the DC01, they just don't last, our original Kirby is 20 years old and still picks up well.  Weighs a tonne though, combated by the latest ones which have power assistance; can move heavy chairs out of the way. :signLOL:

Not quite but close especially as most of it is cat.

We have a Dyson and it feels to me like I spend more time emptying the thing than actually using it.

No idea, but my Miele cat & dog vacuum was about £170.

Ditto. I assume you have the upright one, Rich? The hose pulls the bloody thing over when you try and use it!

Yea, hose it too short to get to the top of the  stairs and if you use it from the top it always attempts to come  flying down onto me. Cable is too short too
