That sound sucked me in straight away.  :notworthy:

I've been driving a 3.0 TDi Quattro A6 for a couple of weeks while mine has been at the doctors again and the sound is awesome.

The problem with the the 2.7 is it is only offered with a Multi-Tronic gearbox which massively reduces 0-60 (6.2 on the 3.0 vs 7.7 on the 2.7) and you cannot specify Quattro on the 2.7.  The icing on the cake is that 3.0 has the 7 Speed DSG which is an awesome box.

As for consumption I could easily get 40+ with the A6 and without really trying  That's good enough for me.  :evilgrin:

So Rich sometimes you need to look a little deeper than headline MPG  :evilgrin:

Not Quattro - I had the choice & choose the FWD again, its got a nice spec though

Got a great deal on it also, gave me 10k for my golf - 55plate, 40k, Dsg so was happy with that :happy2:
