Thanks, got some 340mm TTS Mtec 'c-hook' discs on order and will have to buy an adapter kit from AKS/Awesome GTi in order to fit them. Hopefully it will all come together smoothly..

Damn! I knew it wasn't that easy 

Had to do that with by brembo junior on the tt as I bought them without adaptors. Good brakes and very lights in comparison to the oem calipers.

Bought a tyre pressure gauge and foot pump. 

Always thought the front tyres looked a bit flat. Think the pump at the local petrol station is fooked as all the tyres have a pressure of 1.4 bar.

Getting them up to 2.4 now, unless anyone thinks i should put a bit more in as we are usually 4 in the car with the rather heavy audio install in the boot.

I'd put 2.6 bar at least if your car is running that heavy normally. I put 2.5 bar at the front and 2.4 bar at the rear, and it's just me in the car normally.
