I love 197s, but they look so much better with wheel spacers. At least 20mm is needed to fill the arches properly!

Completely agree with you the wheels look lost in those arches. A set of 20mm spacers were bought 10mins after I was given the keys.

20mm spacers  is that wise on a car that will get abused (which lets face it, is what its designed for).  Maybe im over cautious but im wary of using even a 5mm spacer, and considering ordering new wheels with a larger offset instead

There just so happens to be a set up for sale on one of the Clio forums

Not for me at the moment tho as funds are a bit tight

But one thing that has suprised me about the Clio's is how cheap the aftermarket parts are compared to the GTi

Just agree'd deal on this car today, this will be taking over from the Golf's old job of town crawling, and having a well deserved rest. top of the range Hyundia i10 Style.

At £30 a year road tax, and £20 a week in fuel for 200 miles motoring on average, it more then makes it worth purchasing .Insurance is £250 a year fully comp.

for all the bhp chasers in here, it's 77bhp, 72lb ft of torque, and this will be my calculation, has just enough power to make jkm's rollers roll one revolution before needing a new clutch .

And yes I do fit inside behind the wheel. it has as much room in the back as the Golf does .

Got my arrival date thru today, ship arrives 14th of April, arrives at the dealers within 2 weeks, so will be ready 28th april
